"Yoga changed my life.  It calmed me.  It centered me.  It opened me up and brought flexibility into my life in more ways than one!  When I practiced Yoga I was happy.  When I didn't, my body and my spirit yearned for it.  When yoga became part of my life, I was able to finally come home to myself."

Hatha yoga is like a "wish-fulfilling tree" of health benefits.  15 million people in the US couldn't be wrong!  Whether you're looking to increase strength and stamina, de-stress from a long day, lose a few pounds, or just relax and "be" in a beautiful place, our classes are gentle but inspiring.  Just as important, yoga postures can improve sitting posture and still the mind, in preparation for the inwardly focused practices that bring us into Krishna's spiritual realm.  We teach yoga as an aspect of bhakti or devotion to God, but that doesn't stop it from being a great workout!

IntegratedYogaNightsweb

On Monday through Thursday evenings, come for special Integrated Yoga Nights, when we flow from one form of devotional yoga to another.  An inner journey into the spiritual world unfolds naturally.  These sessions begin at 6pm with an offering of love and devotion to God.

6:00  Bhakti, or devotional Yoga
6:15  Jnana Yoga, or yoga of Knowledge
6:45  Hatha yoga - postures/breathing
7:30  Kirtan yoga - call-and-response singing
7:45  Japa yoga - quiet mantra repetition
8:00  Finish

** Hanuman (see below) also teaches Integrated Yoga on Saturdays at 12:30 pm.  Don't miss this customized, fun class with one of the area's top yoga and martial arts instructors (and kirtan leaders).  Get ready to serenely enter Krishna's realm with a potent blend of Kundalini, Hatha, and Shakti (power) Yoga, as well as Thi Chi and other traditional martial arts exercises.  We begin with the noon offering and Hanuman takes it from there.

Everyone is invited, and you are welcome to come for any part or all of the program, as you choose. These classes, like the Sunday Feast, are a time for us to come together as a community and strengthen our spiritual practices.
