non-stick cookie sheet

Soak the soybeans in the bowl filled with water for 6 hours until doubled or tripled in size, rinse with water, drain.

Spray or oil the cookie sheet and pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Put rinsed soybeans out on the cookie sheet in a single layer, bake in oven for 30-45 minutes, turning the beans so that they are evenly light-brown and have a “nutty” smell ( as well as a taste when done!)

Pull from oven and cool, you can eat them plain, they have their own distinct flavor or season them how you wish!  ( Seeing as they are a legume instead of an actual nut, store in the fridge)

Serves: 3 cups
