Wax Beans and Almonds

Ingredients:

1 lb wax beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
black pepper to taste

Ingredients:

1 lb wax beans

1/3 cup chopped almonds

1 teaspoon sugar

Directions:

Bring saltwater to boil. Blanche beans for about 5 minutes. Drain and place in cold water.

Now heat oil and margarine in a skillet.  Add almonds and stir for 3 minutes. Add sugar, salt, pepper and mix everything together.

Fold in beans and serve.

Serves: 6
