Song: Literature for Swanlike Men

(Intro Verse)
tad vāg-visargo janatāgha-viplavo
yasmin prati-ślokam abaddhavaty api
nāmāny anantasya yaśo ’ṅkitāni yat
śṛṇvanti gāyanti gṛṇanti sādhavaḥ

(Verse 1)
Yo, that literature, a distinct creation,
Brimming with transcendental glories, a pure revelation.
The Supreme Lord’s name, His fame, His forms, His divine play,
Crafted to spark revolution, in impious lives today.
For this misdirected world, a civilization gone astray,
These sacred writings, illuminate the true way.
Even if imperfectly fashioned, still they resonate deep,
Heard, sung, and embraced, by honest souls who keep.

(Chorus)
This knowledge is nectar, from poison refined,
Gold from the squalor, for an elevated mind.
A potent solution, for a world gone askew,
The Bhāgavatam’s message, shining for you.
