Song: Invocation Sri Isopanishad

Yo, this ain’t no myth, no fable,
This wisdom ancient, etched in time, eternally stable.
Oṁ pūrṇam adaḥ pūrṇam idaṁ, hear the cosmic decree,
The Source is whole, complete, and so are you and me.

From this fullness, pure and grand, every other form takes flight,
Like ripples from a stone, variety from a single origin, despite
The universe you see, a masterpiece, so vast and deep,
its flawless rhythms unerringly keep cycling .
Each atom, star, each breath, a piece of the grand design,
No lack, no void, just balance, perfectly aligned.

They say that God is formless, but how can that be true?
The creator is always greater than the created. That’s logic through and through.
The source must contain all qualities in full.
The part’s never greater than the whole.
Persons come never from impersonal core
a truth you can bank on for a perfect score.

Twenty-four elements, a cosmic engine, smooth and sly,
Producing all it needs, beneath the boundless sky.
No outside help required, no extra push, no strain,
It runs on its own clock, through sunshine and through rain.
And when that cycle’s done, this scene will fade away,
By the same complete design, at the close of its day.

Now listen close, you vibrant souls, with consciousness so keen,
You’re units, small but mighty, part of this cosmic scene.
The only incompleteness, a shadow in the mind,
When knowledge of the Whole, you’re struggling to find.
If this human life, a chance so crystal clear,
You miss your link to Source, then doubt and fear appear.

Back on the wheel you go, the evolutionary grind,
By nature’s law, you’re bound, until Absolute truth you find.
We hustle, strive, and chase, for comfort and for gain,
Misguided efforts, trying to subdue life’s pain.
We crave the senses, bliss, a life of pure delight,
But disconnected from the Whole, it’s a losing fight.

Like a hand detached, it looks the same, you see,
But all potent power, has ceased to be.
We’re fragments of the Whole, in essence, truly one,
Cut off, that empty feeling, can never be outrun.
True fullness, real completeness, comes when you’re checked in
To serve the Supreme Person, no longer disconnected.

Your social climbs, your politics, the games we play and win,
International endeavors, outer space travel thrown in,
All these remain undone, a puzzle incomplete,
Until you link ’em up, with the Whole, truly sweet.
Then every piece, each action, finds its perfect place,
Reflecting back the fullness, with elegance and grace.

Chant the holy names, for a life’s adventure complete,
Victory to victory, with never the taste of defeat.
