As Krishna mounts his chariot, Dwarka bound,
Queen Kunti’s heart pounds, sadness abounds,
Her prayers take flight, a farewell plea, bittersweet
Krishnha, Protector of dharma, our guiding light,
By our side in every fight
Lotus eyes, lotus feet, shining so bright
illuminating our path through many a dark night.
Without You, our fame and deeds will fade,
Pandavas, Yadus, in sorrow’s shade.
Your footprints grace our kingdom’s ground,
But when You’re gone, darkness will surround
Lord, I’m on my knees, my heart full of awe
You are the original without any flaw
Within and without, in the big and the small
Apart from any material laws
You are invisible to all.
Kunti’s prayer, a soulful plea,
Through trials and triumphs, His grace we see,
Devotion’s path will set us free
Like the Ganges rushes, from the high Mountains to the sea,
let our love flow, eternally, to Krishna’s lotus feet.
Retracing our steps, you saved us from poisoned cakes
Our house set ablaze, exile’s displacement,
raging battles, cannibal’s chases
Shielded Droupadi from disgrace,
On the Kurukshetra plain, you erased
our enemies, no trace remained.
Asvatthama’s weapon, You turned away,
Calamities we’d welcome, just to see You stay.
For Your sight ends the cycle of rebirth,
A gift beyond all treasures on this Earth.
Let trials repeat, if it means seeing Your face,
No more births, no more deaths, in this endless race,
Your presence, our liberation, in every place,
Kunti’s heart sings, Your glories we embrace.
Those who chant Your names, day and night,
See Your lotus feet, in purest light.
You are Easy to reach, for the weary soul
But those chasing wealth, prestige, worldly I goals.
They can’t approach you.
Their hearts are cold
You belong to the poor,
Worldly exhaustion, the path to Your door.
Asvatthama’s weapon, You turned away,
Calamities we’d welcome, just to see You stay.
For Your sight ends the cycle of rebirth,
A gift beyond all treasures on this Earth.
Kunti’s prayer, a soulful plea,
Through trials and triumphs, His grace we see,
Devotion’s path will set us free
Like the Ganges rushes, from the high Mountains to the sea,
let our love flow, eternally, to Krishna’s lotus feet.
Let trials repeat, if it means seeing Your face,
No more births, no more deaths, in this endless race,
Your presence, our liberation, in every place,
Kunti’s heart sings, Your glories we embrace.
