Now the Lord is our blesser, and from the moment we become devotees, we become heirs to all of the blessings of Krishna. But remember this: BATTLES always follow BLESSINGS. That is good because Krishna can use those battles to force us to trust the GIVER rather than the GIFTS.

It is not necessarily bad to have to face enemies. IT’S NOT BAD to have to fight battles. IT’S NOT BAD to have to wage war.

The greatest war will be with our own flesh, our own minds. The greatest battles are not without. They are within. Resisting the perverse calls of the mind and the flesh, keeping you vigilant, keeping you strong, keeping you on the alert.
